I work with businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals on all sorts of storytelling projects, including articles, blogs, profiles, explainers, email newsletters, white papers, e-books and website copy. I am available for research, writing, editing, teaching, speaking and consulting gigs.
My vast experience as a content marketing writer includes both freelance and staff roles. Early on in my career, I worked as assistant editor in Venture Publishing’s contract division, editing custom magazines for clients including MacEwan University, Alberta Health Services and the United Way of the Alberta Capital Region.
More recently, I was the writer on the Calgary Public Library’s marketing and communications team. Much of my work supported the successful promotion and opening of the new Central Library in November 2018. I wrote and edited content including email newsletters, website articles, strategy documents, speaking notes, brochures and video scripts, and I also built and managed a house style guide.
As a freelancer, I work with numerous clients on a range of projects. Whether you’re looking to start an email newsletter from scratch, commission engaging stories for your annual report, review your content strategy or revamp your website’s copy, I can help.
